Long Stretch Of My Mars Line, Aldinga Beach, Adelaide…
In March 2015 I went to Australia as part of my big Astrology Adventure, and I hit up my Mars line – Mars relocated to my ascendant, as well as some other lines while I was there too.
Yes, I literally planned my holiday around AstroCartoGraphy!
In the interests of astrology, I wanted to see if I could ascertain any affects or changes; during this trip I wondered how Mars would manifest…
My Mars Ascendant ‘AC’ line…
I chose not to go to my Pluto (Ascendant) Line, as I had already visited this in Japan, and found I’d become quite toxic and venomous to an ex-boyfriend I was looking to sever contact with, so I headed right to Aldinga Beach, Adelaide.
(The likelihood is, I was still under the influence of Pluto, as both Mars and Pluto in my natal chart are in Scorpio, and the lines aren’t very far apart).
I stayed with the most wonderful woman via the Couchsurfing site, which has proved invaluable to me on my travels around the world. It means I get to meet interesting people, stay in real homes around the world and also throw a little bit of faith to the universe…

Under Mars, I was interested to see if I felt more athletic, as one of the promises or premises of Mars is that as an energy planet it’s possible to increase ones vitality when aligned in this way.

I must say that I felt more energised in this location and could imagine that if I lived in such a spot for a period of time that I might feel fitter, stronger and more full of stamina.
But, I have to admit that during my stay I had to face the shadow side of Mars embodied through myself. Remember the ascendant is the gateway to the first house in astrology, therefore we embody the sign with it on our ascendant.
As someone with Mars in Scorpio my jealous side came out (note its close proximity to Pluto on the ascendant), and I was consumed with anger and frustration!
Thankfully I had a lovely roommate to go on long walks with to the gorgeous beaches. We also went to a kangaroo park!
