We know that cities can be smoggy and that the best view of a full moon is best done on a crisp, clear night, miles from anywhere, certainly far from light pollution.
However, we can’t let that stop us moon gazing from the cities!
And of course, among other things, full moons are notoriously good for gadding about town – everyone comes out to play!
Here are my pick of the best bars around the world, that will suit for stargazing or looking up to the full, bright moon!
BEST ROOFTOP BARS, ASIA
Ku Dé Ta is an open air bar, nightclub and all out adult play area at the top of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and yes, it really is as stunning as the picture here Stargazers! The infinity pool is reserved for guests of the hotel, not open to lunatics that fancy a dip, still it adds to the ambience of this gorgeous rooftop area.
The highest rooftop bar in Singapore, 1-Altitude has a 360 degree view and three areas to enjoy: the bar on level 63, Stellar, the restaurant on 62 and Altimate on 61.
If Star Sign Style visits Shanghai the fashionable Flair will be on the must-see/go-to list. Located on the 58th floor, the lounge is the highest rooftop bar in China. Drink in views of The Bund and city skyline (plus a cocktail or two) from the Ritz Carlton bar, which also boasts indoor and outdoor dining, Asian tapas and a raw seafood bar.

It can get a little squished so make sure you’re squash against a hottie! Easy to find, it’s just a stone’s throw from Oxford Circus tube station.

With panoramic views, Moskva City makes the list for moonlit moments too. A new bar restaurant located on the Petrograd side near the Bolshaya Neva, the nearest metro is Gorgovskaya.
