Lets look at your month ahead in detail, Taurus!

Taurus April Horoscope 2019…

April opens up with powerful celestial weather, as potent planet Pluto comes into contact with the south node and point of karmic ties. Embrace the major shifts that present themselves!

For you, Taurus, these rumblings and transformations occur in the zone of broader horizons, thinking, perspectives, learning and outlook, as well as overseas connections, knowledge, growth and (even religious) experiences, and therefore you might be transitioning through involvement in a certain venture, asserting yourself within a larger institutional setting and claiming your power through what you know to be true. Bear in mind that these are long-term developments and not confined to April in particular. January’s new moon eclipse in Capricorn and the past two years of Saturn in Capricorn have also touched upon this area, and the more empowered perspective you now have.

Depending on seeds you’ve sown, encounters you’ve engaged with, and your approach to developing your communications, knowledge and understanding, you may now encounter notable developments.

On the 2nd and 3rd of April the moon will join Venus, Mercury and Neptune in Pisces, and the area of your horoscope governing groups and communities, social networks and the circles that help you see your dreams come to fruition, plus the friends you have online or in a wider setting (including your company or industry). Mercury (now direct in this fluid, watery, foggy realm) will be exactly conjoined Neptune, planet of delusion, confusion as well as transcendent thought. It’s an ideal weekend for reflection on friends, connection and interests in the world at large, considering projects among likeminded folk that have recently been pertinent. Journal and bring your musings full circle.

The New Moon in Aries arrives on the 5th April (at 8.50 am GMT) at 15º of the sign. This is a moment to pull back into solitude, and claim a fresh start for moving beyond the everyday workloads and minutiae. It’s an ideal time to consider quitting bad habits, as well as transformations that will serve your highest self; image the best version of you that can serve a more meaningful purpose. And yet, you might not want to go full throttle into escapism, eluding the everyday in favour of healing, respite and retreat. Sun and moon are in tension with planets at this new moon, so your overarching adventure, outlook and worldly connections (i.e. the philosophies and education you’re embracing) could challenge the spiritual life you’re looking to seed and grow. You may need to strike a balance between the plans you have (for escapism and transcendence) versus navigating the outlook, opinions or the thinking of those around you.

Sunday April 7th delivers clarity – potentially through conversations with friends, someone from your network or community – as Mercury and Saturn align. It’s a time that allows you to make better sense of your quest or purpose, how you express yourself outwardly in the world, and what it is you’re wanting to say; reflect on how you come across and your true beliefs. Note how far you’ve established a framework to operate within, and allow your connection to others to reveal the steadfast and enduring nature of your personal perspective.

We’ve an interesting day Wednesday April 10th, as the purposeful, driven sun (in Aries) comes into tension with authoritative Saturn; you may want to go your own way, releasing, cleaning out the junk with a psychological spiring clean, enjoying solitude and surrender – but go steady. Anticipate some kind of demand that prompts you to engage with the wider world, Taurus. Venus, Neptune and Mercury in your sociable zone of group activities will align with planets in your zone of wisdom ad philosophy, inviting you to express your notions to those around you.

It’s on this day, too, that Jupiter begins its retrograde, which presses pause on expansion in the area of teamwork and commitments, finances, your passive income or joint earnings, shared spaces, inheritances, tax and paperwork (even marriage) – an area that’s likely to have experienced a boost in attention and interest since November 2018. Soon after (on the 12th) Mercury clashes with Jupiter, and on the 15th Venus clashes with Jupiter, which suggests that two areas of life may be struggling against each other (i.e. your desire to take a relationship or personal investments seriously, vs. your place among community and friends). It’s been challenging for Jupiter since he entered Sagittarius back on November 8th, with planets in Pisces overwhelming his ability to flourish and bloom, and it could continue to be hard to embrace the full potential of Jupiter this year. Jupiter Retrograde offers a chance to think over your goals for a gorgeous union, and growth in your partnerships, how they’re developing and will continue to evolve.

Easter weekend begins with the second Full Moon in the zodiac sign Libra, Friday April 19th (11.12 am GMT). The moon peaks at 29º Libra, a moment to celebrate work and health accomplishments, the little things you do everyday that show your productive side.  With the moon peaking in your zone of everyday tasks, your job, habits and wellness shine a light on how you’ve managed diet, fitness and your daily schedule. What shifts have been most pertinent? They may come up for you now, and may also be related to certain friendships or group dynamics.

The sun then moves into Taurus, and if your birthday is early in Taurus season you might be getting a unique and revelatory burst of inspiration! Look back to last May 2018 to relaunch or revisit a very special project that’s innovative and exciting. It’s time to focus on you, Taurus, with your time in the sun and a unique pairing of Uranus and the sun together in Taurus

On Sunday April 21st Venus moves into Aries, signalling a time to pull back and really relish the transitionary shifts you began thinking about on the 5th. If you are letting go of a relationship or addiction now is the time to really face up to what’s needed to see it through. It’s likely to be uncomfortable at first but will get easier.

Motivator Mars enters Gemini on the 31st March, and spends April moving swiftly through your zone of earnings, your position, the confidence you have to connect to the work you do and make money! You could be keen to tackle the practicalities of your role and to cash in on certain payments due. On April 27th, Mars will clash with Neptune in Pisces, so that while part of you is keen to circulate with your tribe, another side is more concerned with the financials and other people tearing you away from your business calls! Balance accordingly.
