Where To Travel? Aquarius Cities And Countries…

Brighton

The city of Brighton has been cited in the Domesday Book and is thought to date back to the Anglo-Saxon period. A location known in earlier times by the name ‘Bristelmestune‘, Brighton is truly an Aquarius place! In the Georgian era it became a fashionable destination and seaside resort, a major tourist attraction for day-trippers from London. Its Royal Pavilion (pictured above) was build as a residence for the Prince Regent, and makes an eccentric centre-piece in the city.

Like Aquarius, Brighton is seen as a little different, and outside the usual parameters of nearby London, with its quirky shops and entertainment. It’s been voted the happiest place to live in the UK, and the countries hippest city! It has a well-known and thriving LGBT community – one of the largest and most prominent in the UK, and many LGBT publishers and charities are based there.

New Zealand

Sri Lanka’s Independence Day, or National Day is February 4th 1948, when the country gained political independence from British rule. This chart has the sun rising in Aquarius, giving a strong Aquarian sentiment to the country, plus the moon in Sagittarius, making it a home to many different cultures, languages and ethnicities.

Established as a trading town by King Gustav I of Sweden in 1550 (January 12th at 9.45 am), Helsinki has the sun exactly conjunct Saturn in Aquarius at 1º, making it a seriously Aquarian location!
