Kate Bush was born 30th July 1958, making her a bold, dramatic, creative Leo.
The English singer-songwriter and record producer has recently seen her song ‘Running Up That Hill‘ popularised by the Stranger Things TV Show.
It reached No 8 in the UK charts, based on streams and downloads, three decades after it reached No 3 on its initial release.
The first single from her album Hounds of Love, the song was ‘born’ in the United Kingdom on 5 August 1985, just after her 27th birthday.
This gives Running Up That Hill a Sun-Mars signature in Leo (with transiting Mars conjunct her Sun and the transiting Sun on her Uranus); the Moon was in Aries that day, and Uranus was in Sagittarius trine the Sun – Mercury Retrograde in Leo).
Pluto was on her Neptune, and she had not yet entered her Saturn Return.
There is now (in 2022) a Mars-Jupiter conjunction on the song’s Moon!
Bush has both the Sun and Mercury in their signs of domicile (Sun in Leo, and Mercury in Virgo), contributing to her ability to perform with showmanship and confidence, but backing up her talent with skill and precision.
Note Mercury is conjunct Pluto in the chart below, which makes me think the Hounds of Love are in fact Pluto’s three-headed dog Cerberus!
The Sun-Uranus conjunction can be clearly experienced through her eclectic and experimental musical style, unconventional lyrics, performances and general diversity.
The press have often viewed her as a strange, eccentric recluse, which can also be her Uranian/Plutonic signatures.
Yet its these planetary conjunctions that give her the unrelenting will for freedom to self-produce, and not sacrifice her artistic liberties…

All ten of her studio albums reached the UK Top 10, and she was the first British solo female artist to top the UK album charts and the first female artist to enter the album chart at number one. Her musical talent is profound!
