Every 9th November, Cambodia celebrates its independence from France.

In 1953, King Norodom Sihanouk successfully gained full independence, so this country has the Sun, Saturn and Mercury in Scorpio. Venus, Mars and Neptune are in Libra, and Pluto is rising in Leo. It’s a wonderful place to visit, with the most incredible temples.

Angkor Wat and Bayon Temple are the most famous but you can forever discover more and more sites!

Liechtenstein…

A German-speaking, locked country, bordered by Switzerland and Austria, Liechtenstein is the sixth smallest nation worldwide.

Located in the Alps, it is mountainous and has both natural and manmade lakes and reservoirs.

The chart for this country features the Sun, Pluto, Mars and Mercury in Scorpio, with Leo Rising. It is cast for the accession of the current duke, November 13th 1989.

Turkey…

Turkey is an ideal place for Scorpio to visit.

An ideal vacation destination for Scorpio…

Officially the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the northeastern portion of Cyprus is Scorpio.

Gaining independence from the Republic of Cyprus on the 15th November 1983, the Sun, Saturn and Pluto are in this zodiac sign. Furthermore, Pluto is at 0º22′.

Still considered by the international community to be part of the Republic of Cyprus, here you can experience Turkish Cypriot culture and the Mediterranean. In June you might observe turtles laying eggs. In late July, the eggs hatch and the baby turtles head to the sea.

Berlin…

The city of Berlin has a long and fascinating history.

It was first documented on October 28th, 1237 (at 12.01pm) as ‘Cölln’ giving a Sun-Venus conjunction in Scorpio.

Black Moon Lilith features in a stellium with the Midheaven in Scorpio. The zodiac Capricorn was rising. The Berlin wall came down when the Moon was in Scorpio, plus a strong line-up in Capricorn. Saturn was conjunct Neptune, and Venus conjunct Uranus in this earth sign.

The city of Vienna was granted its charter on October 18th, 1221.
