KINOKI DETOX FOOT PADS – Do they work?!
So, the Kinoki Detox foot pads are available everywhere in Hong Kong.

You simply stick the patches to the soles of your feet before going to sleep, they work their magic as you snooze.
Do They Work?
I can attest (as can most people) to a foul looking gunky residue being left on the patches after my slumbers.
Manufacturers claim that this is the effect of the foot patches drawing “toxins” from the body, boosting the immune system and suchlike, however there is little evidence (and lots of talk) to the contrary.
These patches may in fact do very little!
The patches claim to contain a variety of ingredients, typically wood vinegar, plants, herbs and tourmaline, a mineral. These ingredients are supposed draw out toxins, even heavy metals and poisons, such as lead and arsenic.
In fact, they could be a scam!
You are supposed to wear the pads for 30 consecutive nights, however as they’re pricey I treat myself to them now and again (along with my favourite lavender, heat activated eye patches!) but am yet to commit to investing my precious dollar to a longer foray into the foot patches…
