Everything You Need To Know About Jupiter Conjunct Uranus!

A conjunction is an astrological term for an alignment of two celestial objects.

Planet Jupiter makes a conjunction with Uranus every 13-14 years, and in 2024 both will appear at twenty one degrees, fifty minutes.

Jupiter will be conjunct Uranus at 21º50′ on April 21st 2024.

Note Jupiter represents good fortune, prosperity, luck, abundance, growth, expansion and has a celebratory tone. Uranus is a force for change, innovation, progress, uprising, revolt and rebellion. As the biggest planet of our solar system with meet up with techie Uranus, we might see a new invention made public, or a feast for the senses. In basic terms we will see a big emphasis on changes made since Uranus has been in Taurus.

Football is an Aries-ruled game, and around this conjunction we saw the FIFA World Cup (April 11th). On the 12th Toy Story 3 premiered in Italy and became the 1st animated film to earn 1 billion. Other noteworthy events at this time include children. Aries is a sign of innocence, and along with Gemini, youth. In the news, Pope Benedict XVI begged for forgiveness from God and from those who have been abused as children by priests. Meanwhile, Taliban militants executed a 7-year-old boy for “spying for the government” in Helmand province in southern Afghanistan.

February 16th 1997, Jupiter Conjunct Uranus in Aquarius…

Jupiter is a celebratory planet, and on the 24th of February we saw the Spice Girls perform at the Brit Awards. Ellen Degeneres hosted the 39th Annual Grammy Awards, where the record of the year was Change The World by Eric Clapton. Chloë Grace Moretz was born on the 10th. Aquarius is a sign of science, and cloning was big news, as Dolly the sheep was in the headlines. Billie-Jo Jenkins was murdered in East Sussex, in a high profile case.

February 18th 1983, Jupiter Conjunct Uranus in Sagittarius…

In the world of music, movies and media, this was an epic time. Frontiers – the eighth studio album by the American rock band Journey – was released on February 1, 1983. The film Fame was at the cinemas, and on February 13th Marvin Gaye performed The Star-Spangled Banner before the NBA All-Star Game. On the 26th Michael Jackson‘s Thriller album hit #1 on the US charts, the first of thirty-seven (non-consecutive) weeks it would spend there on its way to becoming the biggest-selling album of all time. At this time there were also bushfires breaking out!

December 11th 1968, Jupiter Conjunct Uranus in Libra…

Richard Nixon introduced the people he had selected to serve in his cabinet. The film Oliver! opened in the U.S. and would go on to win Best Picture at the 41st Academy Awards. The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus was filmed. The Elvis ‘1968 Comeback Special’ was broadcast on the 3rd, followed by a (Libra) Brigitte Bardot special. The United Transportation Union was formed: a 280,000 member organisation representing 85% of American railway workers.
